Comfrey is an excellent remedy to apply topically to bones and muscles that need a little extra love. Its roots and leaves are very high in allantoin, which stimulates cell regeneration of your skin, muscles and bones and promotes healing of damaged tissues. It also makes an excellent chew-and-spit poultice if you need something really quick.
Because comfrey is such a prolific tissue healer, it can seal off a would by promoting skin regeneration in the upper layers of the tissue, leaving the inside layer vulnerable. For this reason, do not use on deep puncture wounds or cuts.
Materials Needed
- 1/3 cup Dried Comfrey
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup beeswax pastilles

- 25 drops Melaleuca
Method
- Macerate the comfrey into small pieces with a food processor and a small amount of olive oil.
